First we did a radio interview with Park Hyun-ju of KBS. It will air on KBS 970 on the Hanminjok Broadcast next Thursday at 8:00 p.m. That's Ms. Park in the polk-dots, Han Boon-young with her new glasses that say, "I'm on my SECOND master's degree in KOREA," Cho Sung-joon with his new haircut and extra-smooth voice (that you can hear on the radio) and the fabulous supersmart + supersexy Lee Yewon. We talked about what we are doing for TRACK, how we got interested in doing something, and our hopes for the future. We also spent some time talking about "community," which does not really translate in Korean. So our TRACK concept of the "adoption community" being made up of adoptees, birthparents, adoptive parents, spouses, children, and our friends is something that may become the new Konglish lingo.
On to the next stop. Here we are again, this time with Lee Yewon behind the camera and Jane Jeong Trenka on the left. We met with Yeo Jun Sung, the Chief assistant of Choi Young Hee, who is a National Assembly representative in the major opposition party. There's Boon Young again with her glasses, and Ross Oke looking spiffy in the white shirt and tie. We are participating in the National Assembly audit.
Hope your Chuseok was at least OK, and let's look forward to Chuseoks when everyone is at least invited home.
